About

About Me

Hi, my name is Meitra Kazemi. I am a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My hobbies include: playing the flute, tennis, and reading. In my spare time I also volunteer at a local hospital.

However, during the coronavirus outbreak I was unable to continue my regular volunteering. I formed this program to tutor middle and high school students in math. For every tutoring session that is completed we will donate funds to the World Health Organization. This organization will then use donations to provide medical services and supplies to those who are in need and suffering from the coronavirus.

Donations

For every tutoring session that is scheduled we will donate $5 to the World Health Organization's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. These funds will aid in distributing necessary supplies and tests to healthcare workers and facilities around the globe. Contributions are also being used to advance the development of vaccines, tests, and treatments for the virus. So far over 269,000 individuals have made donations and raised almost $200 million. Donations to the World Health Organization have allowed for the purchase of approximately 1.5 million coronavirus testing kits and 800,000 face masks in more than 70 countries.
